Cedar Rapids, Iowa – St. Ambrose University counted four all-conference runners and claimed its second straight league crown at the 2007 Midwest Collegiate Conference Men’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Jones Park.
 
St. Ambrose sophomore Cliff Miles earned Men’s Harrier of the Year honors for his second consecutive conference championship with a time of 27:41 in the 8K. Also landing on the all-conference team were Brandon Bond of Grand View College (2nd/28:05), Alex Flores of St. Ambrose (3rd/28:29), Matt Hilby of Mount Mercy (4th/28:38), James Hogan of St. Ambrose (5th/28:44), Juvy Hakizimana of Grand View (6th/28:47), and Doug Brusich of St. Ambrose (7th/28:57).
 
The Fighting Bees took first place with 30 points. Grand View was runner-up with 43, Clarke College was third with 70, and Mount Mercy fourth with 79.
